Zelenskyy's representative named the goal of the strike on the Chongar Bridge

The purpose of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Chongar Bridge is to destroy the logistical support of the occupiers with weapons and military equipment.

This was stated by the Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, as reported by "24 Channel."

Podolyak stated that the strike on the Chongar Bridge had a specific military significance. According to him, the Ukrainian Defense Forces should disrupt the supply lines for the Russians from the north and south, and they should do it along the entire frontline.

"Blowing up the bridges, supply infrastructure and transportation infrastructure has a clear military significance. Our guys are currently working on it," said the Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President.

He explained that one of the key components of Ukraine's offensive operations is the destruction of enemy's logistical support.

It is necessary to destroy all supplies to Russian forces on any front. And the key direction is the occupied Crimea, where the enemy has more than 200 depots of tactical and strategic importance.

"We need to eliminate the possibility of using these depots for the operational supply of resources that enable the continuation of defensive operations by the Russian occupational group," Podolyak added.
