The sanctions of the Western countries, which have already been implemented against Russia, must be refined in order to increase their effectiveness.
Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office, stated this on the air of the telethon.
He noted that in order for the sanctions to have a more powerful effect, the following should be done:
- to close any transit through Russia;
- to close the possibility of bypassing sanctions through third countries;
- to close the accounts of certain Russian banks.
"And the rest is to kill the Russian nuclear industry. In principle, this will be enough for Russia to finally remain in the Middle Ages. The Russian economy cannot withstand all this," Podolyak said.
