Protecting the skies and civilians from aerial attacks, along with strengthening air defenses, is the Ministry of Defense’s top priority.
Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov told reporters this during a briefing marking the first month of the revamped Defense Ministry team.
«Our main focus during the first month was air defense. In response to intense Russian strikes, our task was to strengthen the air defense system. To do this, we implemented an After Action Review system. After every major attack, we gathered teams from the Defense Ministry and the Air Force to analyze the strike: where the interceptors were positioned, where the „Shaheds“ were shot down, the ballistic trajectories, how the „small“ air defenses performed, and the consequences of each attack, ” he explained.
Fedorov says that a digital system is now in place, efficiently tracking and analyzing every attack.
«The President holds a daily briefing to review the results of air defense effectiveness and energy restoration, ” he added.
