President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a briefing from the Ukrainian delegation following talks in the United Arab Emirates with representatives from the United States and Russia.
He shared the news on social media.
Zelenskyy highlighted that this was the first trilateral dialogue in a long time aimed at ending the war.
“Meetings covered a broad set of important issues, mainly military matters needed to end the war. Complex political questions that remain unresolved were also discussed. Key positions of the parties were reviewed, and a framework for further diplomatic work was defined,” Zelenskyy said.
The president added that additional trilateral meetings are planned for this week.
