Moscow has once again voiced its conditions for ending the war in Ukraine—or, as the Kremlin cynically puts it, for «settling the conflict.»

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the corresponding statement during his visit to New Delhi.

The head of the aggressor state’s foreign ministry repeated the old Kremlin narrative about «respecting the rights of Russian-speaking citizens.» Lavrov defiantly emphasized that this was not even a condition, but rather «Kyiv’s obligation.»

The «fuhrer’s» henchman also boldly claimed that the Russian language is «banned in all spheres of life» in Ukraine. Meanwhile, ignoring Russia’s inhumane crimes and the killings of peaceful Ukrainians, he cynically spoke about «respecting human rights in the fields of language and religion.»

Furthermore, the Russian minister defiantly declared that Russia would achieve the goals of its «special military operation» (SMO) «under all circumstances"—adding deceitfully that this would happen «preferably through diplomacy,» or otherwise «within the framework of the SMO.»
