Trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia and U.S. begin in Geneva: Details
The head of Ukraine’s delegation stressed that its members have a clear mandate for negotiations.

A new round of trilateral peace talks between Ukraine, Russia and United States has begun in Geneva, Switzerland.
Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation, said:
«We thank the U.S. for their involvement and steady work in the negotiation process, and we appreciate Switzerland for organizing the meetings and providing suitable conditions.»
He said that the Ukrainian delegation operates within a framework agreed by President Zelenskyy and has a clear mandate. Security and humanitarian issues are on the agenda.
«Our goal is to push forward as many decisions as possible that could bring sustainable peace closer, ” he added.
