«Work to end the war»: Zelenskyy on results of talks with Trump
President Zelenskyy said what he had agreed with Trump and his team ahead of the meeting in Geneva.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the results of his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Zelenskyy made the statement on social media.
He said Trump’s representatives, Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, were also involved in the call on the U.S. side.
«Our teams are working hard right now, and I expressed my gratitude for all the efforts and the level of engagement in the negotiations and in the work to end the war, ” the Ukrainian leader said.
Zelenskyy highlighted the importance of the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) programme, a U.S.-NATO initiative that allows Ukraine to secure critically needed weapons through targeted European financing of U.S.-produced arms.
Ukraine is securing ammunition for its air defense systems through the PURL programme, he said.
«This winter is the hardest for Ukraine, but missiles for our air defenses from the U.S. are helping us meet these challenges and protect lives, ” the president says.
The discussion also covered issues that U.S. and Ukrainian officials will work on tomorrow in Geneva at a bilateral meeting, as well as preparations for a full trilateral meeting with Russia planned for early March.
Zelenskyy expects the trilateral talks will pave the way for talks at the leader level with Trump and Putin.
«President Trump supports this sequence of steps. This is the only way to resolve all complex and sensitive matters and finally bring the war to an end, ” Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
