Andriy Yermak, Head of the President’s Office, commented on the Russian missile and drone attack launched on Ukraine on the night of July 28.
Yermak published his comment online.
The head of the presidential office noted that the enemy’s attack demonstrated Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin’s unwillingness to engage in negotiations to end the war.
«This is how Putin responds to calls to end the war and sit at the negotiating table. Russian air attacks are still ongoing, civilian infrastructure, homes, and people, including in Kyiv, have already been affected,» Yermak’s post reads.
He stressed that there is no alternative to sanctions, strengthening Ukraine’s long-range capabilities, and taking tough actions against Putin and his inner circle.
«He wants nothing but war and Ukraine’s defeat. But there will be no defeat,» the Head of the President’s Office assured.
He added that Russians, along with their satellites, were also testing NATO’s reaction.
«Drones entering the airspace of Baltic countries are signals that cannot be ignored,» Yermak concluded.
