109 former Belarusian political prisoners were safely transferred to Poland and Lithuania.

The information was released by Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

Thanks to coordinated cooperation between Ukraine and its international partners, representatives of the Belarusian opposition, journalists and civil society activists — who had faced years of political persecution — were released.
