During a massive air attack on Ukraine on September 10, Russia deliberately sent some of its drones toward Poland.
This was reported by Suspilne, citing sources in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the source, the Russian UAVs moved in two groups, without maneuvering, straight toward the Polish border. The first group traveled through Ukraine, and the second through Belarus.
“We have information about how this all unfolded. We have software that allows us to see how they flew, who flew, and where they were headed. We do not believe our electronic warfare systems had any impact, as their guidance systems were likely built to resist electronic interference. The drones moved in a straight line. Therefore, I believe this was unequivocally aimed at ensuring these "Shahed" drones reached Poland,” the General Staff source said.
The source also confirmed that the drones that entered Poland contained SIM cards.
