On September 12, the Russian army attacked the outskirts of Sumy and the region with drones and missiles, resulting in three deaths.
This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.
Around 6 a.m., the Russians struck an industrial area in Sumy with two drones. A 65-year-old security guard at the facility was killed.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., according to preliminary data, the enemy launched three ballistic missiles targeting the residential sector of the Bytytsia village council in the Sumy community.
The aftermath of the attack
«As a result of the attack, two men were killed, one of whom was 67 years old, while the identity of the other is still being established. At least five people were injured. More than 10 households were damaged or destroyed, ” the statement said.
The prosecutor’s office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes.
