Where and when to watch the second international charity telethon Save Ukraine — #StopWar
Tomorrow, on May 29, at 20.00 (СЕТ) Okean Elzy, Tina Karol, The Hardkiss, MONATIK, Kadebostany, Beissoul & Einius, Antytila, ONUKA, alyona alyona, Max Barskih, Melovin, the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 — Kalush Orchestra band, and many other stars, political leaders, sportspeople, actors, and public activists will perform during the second charity telethon Save Ukraine — #StopWar.
The TV marathon will be held simultaneously in the capital cities of Germany and Ukraine. Before, during and after the broadcast, the organizers will raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment for healthcare institutions that provide medical assistance to the wounded and injured, in particular surgical C-arm X-ray machines. The fundraising will be conducted through theUnited24 global initiative. All donations will be automatically transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine, assigned to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The two-hour charity event will start at 20.00 (СЕТ). The telethon will be available on TV, YouTube, and on platforms. In particular:
● TV channels. In Ukraine, the telethon will be broadcasted by such TV channels: 1+1, 2+2, TET, ICTV, STB, Novy, M1, Ukraine, Ukraine 24, UA:Pershyi, UA:Culture, regional TV channels of Suspilne, Inter, Rada, NTN.
● Online TV platforms. Ukrainians and viewers from all around the world can watch the telethon on Kyivstar TV and 1+1 Video.
● YouTube. The broadcast will be available on YouTube channels of 1+1 and Atlas Festival.
● The telethon will also be rebroadcast at a different time by TV channels of about 20 countries in Europe and around the world, streaming platforms, and social media. In particular, TVP World TV channel and TVP.pl platform (Poland), GPB TV channel (Georgia), PROTV platform (Romania), ERR (Estonia), LTR (Lithuania), LTV, TV24 and regional channels of Latvia, CYBC (Cyprus), SKAI TV (Greece), ROGERS TV (Canada), cable platforms United Group (the Balkans), TET (Latvia), Vmedia (Canada), Init (Lithuania), Nova (Czech Republic), Choice TV (Belgium), and many others (the list is being updated).
Timur Miroshnychenko and Masha Yefrosinina will host the event from Berlin, and Marichka Padalko will be the host from Kyiv.
Save Ukraine — #StopWar telethon is implemented by teams of 1+1 media, Atlas Festival, Suspilne, and with the support of the national mobile operator Kyivstar, the Dynamo Kyiv football club, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event is organized also with the help of Havas, Semantic corpus, Pilecki-Institut, Vitscheв.
The first telethon Save Ukraine — #StopWar took place on March 27. During the TV marathon, more than EUR 1.2 million was raised through joint efforts to solve the most acute humanitarian issues caused by the war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. More than 30 TV channels around the world have broadcasted the project simultaneously, and the average rating of the TV channels viewing during the telethon was higher than usual in this slot. In total, around 80 million people worldwide watched the live broadcast of the telethon. We have united all continents. Residents of more than 50 cities and capitals took to the streets to support Ukraine and join the telethon. 30 world political leaders appealed to Ukrainians and the international community. More than 17 million people were united by a communication campaign in the media and on social networks.
