The massive overnight strike on Ukraine, which heavily targeted Kyiv on June 2, allegedly signals a «new paradigm» in Russia’s war effort, said Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian «fuhrer.»
In a brazen shift of blame, Peskov accused Ukraine of launching «terrorist attacks.» Echoing standard Kremlin propaganda, he pointed to an alleged Ukrainian strike on Starobilsk. Moscow cynically claims that Kyiv itself «chose to elevate the conflict to a new level.»
In his statement, the Kremlin mouthpiece mirrored the Defense Ministry’s false claims, insisting that Russia targeted only military infrastructure. Meanwhile, he completely ignored the strikes on residential buildings, where Russian missiles and drones continue to kill civilians.
