Russia continues to plan attacks similar to the one in Lviv, and law enforcement must remain prepared for these challenges, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his video address on February 22.

He said the circumstances of the Lviv attack are being fully investigated.

«Many facts are already known. The perpetrators were recruited via Telegram. The terrorist act was organised by Russia… I have ordered measures to prevent similar crimes. Our law enforcement has experience — dozens of similar situations have been stopped. Ukrainian authorities constantly counter such recruitment, ” the president said.

He called for greater engagement from communities, local officials, and government bodies to limit Russian capabilities for sabotage in Ukraine’s rear areas.

«Our intelligence shows that Russia intends to continue such operations — effectively attacks on Ukrainians. More protection for people is needed, ” he concluded.
