The Russian army hit Odesa with drones overnight into May 20. The strike damaged several homes and cars, and leveled a single-story building.
Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhiy Lysak confirmed the attack.
«In one city district, the attack completely leveled a single-story building, where crews have since extinguished a fire. A high-rise was also hit on its upper floors, though the payload failed to detonate,» the official stated.
Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper added that the strike on the regional capital damaged a tableware warehouse and an unfinished high-rise building. Drone debris also fell in a park area, where a fire later broke out and was extinguished.
