Russian forces have been striking Naftogaz production facilities for the second consecutive day, the company's press service said.
A number of facilities in the Poltava, Kharkiv and Sumy regions came under attack.
"The enemy is deploying various types of drones, including jet-powered ones. The attacks have been nearly continuous since yesterday morning," Naftogaz stated.
The strikes triggered massive fires at several facilities, causing significant destruction. Some equipment has been shut down. Fortunately, no employees were injured.
"The full extent of the damage cannot yet be determined. A damage assessment will begin as soon as security conditions permit," the company said.
