Massive Russian attack on Odesa region: One injured, major damage to energy facilities
Russia struck Odesa region again. One person injured, thousands of homes left without power.

During the night before 29 October, Russian forces launched a new attack on civilian infrastructure in Odesa region. The massive strike caused damage to energy and transport facilities.
This was reported by Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, and DTEK company.
«Despite active air defence operations, energy and transport infrastructure facilities have been damaged,» Kiper noted.
One person sustained injuries and received medical aid. A fire broke out following the strike but was quickly extinguished by emergency responders.
Some residents in the region were left without electricity. Specialists are already working to restore power supply.
«Energy crews are working on restoration. Critical infrastructure is operating on generators, ” Kiper added.
DTEK reported that one energy facility was damaged in the attack. Technicians rerouted critical infrastructure and residential buildings to backup lines, restoring power to 7,000 households. However, more than 26,900 families remain without electricity.
«The damage is extensive. Repairs will take time, ” DTEK reported.
Meanwhile, Kiper says that law enforcement is documenting another war crime committed by Russia against the civilian population of Odesa region.
