Midvolga 2 tanker incident: Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry responds

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry responded to the incident involving a Russian tanker attacked in the Black Sea, rejecting Russia’s accusations.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi reports this.

«Ukraine has no involvement in this incident and officially denies any claims promoted by Russian propaganda, ” he said.

Furthermore, the spokesman adds that the supposed route from Russia to Georgia via Turkey’s free economic zone seems illogical and hints at a notable detail.

«Russia may have entirely staged this incident,» Tykhyi finishes.
