Russia is deploying military helicopters to Belarus. This is yet another provocation by Russian dictator Putin aimed at drawing Ukrainian forces to the Belarusian border.
This opinion was expressed on Kyiv24 TV by Belarusian public and political figure Siarhei Bulba.
According to Bulba, Russia is looking not so much for actual combat actions from Belarus as for provocations that would force Ukraine to redeploy additional units to the northern direction.
"Since Belarusian security forces are currently unable to perform such a task, Moscow may increase information pressure, particularly through the movement of military helicopters," he said.
