Occupiers regroup and prepare for larger offensive: Ukrainian forces’ assessment
Russian occupiers are increasingly targeting Ukrainian logistics routes and regrouping their troops to offset the loss of satellite communications.

Russian occupiers are attempting offensives along the Lyman and Kupiansk directions of the front in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions, but are mostly focused on regrouping in preparation for a larger offensive and on trying to regain control over their forces after losing access to Starlink satellite terminals.
This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, Head of the Communications Department of the Joint Forces Group, on the TV channel We Ukraine on Monday, March 2.
“As of this morning, the Russians are regrouping more than attacking. We are seeing attempts to advance along the Lyman and Kupiansk directions, which is the main focus. There is also some enemy activity along the Vovchansk direction, based on the past 24 hours,” he said.
Trehubov says Russian forces are increasingly targeting Ukrainian logistics routes and regrouping their troops to offset the loss of satellite communications.
“This is clear, first because they are preparing for a larger offensive, and second because they face logistical and command problems after losing Starlink. To conduct any offensive, they need to address this issue and restore control over their troops. Considering this, they still require some time to prepare. But, frankly, it is unlikely they will fully compensate for the absence of this technology,” the head of communications for the Joint Forces Group said.
