The Head of State said that Russia continues its aggression “due to the lack of sufficient pressure, primarily on the war economy.”

On the night of September 3, the Russian army attacked civilian infrastructure and energy facilities with missiles and drones. Dozens of residential buildings were damaged across various regions of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this.

According to him, all necessary emergency services, energy workers, and railway personnel are working to address the aftermath of the attack.

“The main targets are civilian infrastructure, including energy facilities, transport hubs, even a garage cooperative, and, as usual for the Russians, the residential sector. These are clearly demonstration strikes. Putin is demonstrating his impunity, and this certainly requires a response from the world,” the President emphasized.

Zelenskyy stressed that Russia continues its aggression “only due to the lack of sufficient pressure, primarily on the war economy.”

He also announced meetings with partners today, including the Ukraine–Northern Europe and Baltic States summit in Denmark, a bilateral meeting in France, and preparations for new steps with the EU and the US.

“For every Russian strike, a real response is needed,” the Ukrainian leader added.
