For the second day in a row, Russian forces have been attacking Kharkiv. On Tuesday, June 16, explosions shook the regional capital as several strikes were recorded.

Air raid sirens have been sounding across the Kharkiv district since 11:29 p.m. on June 15. Earlier in the morning, the military reported the presence of drones over the region. Shortly after 10:30 a.m., officials warned of a direct threat to the city itself. Several powerful explosions were subsequently heard in Kharkiv.

According to local authorities, the strikes hit Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi and Kyivskyi districts. At least three people sustained injuries.
In the Kholodnohirskyi district, the occupiers struck a civilian enterprise. A 68-year-old man was hospitalized, while medics treat a 45-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.
Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, added that in the Kyivskyi district, UAVs crashed in the courtyard of a residential high-rise and on church grounds.
