Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones on the evening of May 9. One person was killed and another injured in the attacks, said Oleksandr Ganzha, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to the official, Russian drones attacked Nikopol, the Myrove community, and the Chervonohryhorivka community.
“Nikopol, the Myrove community, and the Chervonohryhorivka community came under attack,” Ganzha said.
A residential apartment building and a lyceum were damaged in the attack.
An 87-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition.
Russian forces also attacked the Mezheva community in the Synelnykove district.
“Russia also targeted the Mezheva community in the Synelnykove district. A 46-year-old woman was killed,” the regional administration head said.
Information on other possible consequences of the attack is being clarified.
