Russian propaganda outlets are spreading reports that their troops have allegedly taken control of the Korabel area in Kherson.

The monitoring and analysis channel DeepState reported what is really happening on the ground.

According to the channel, Ukraine’s Operational Command «South» sent its press officer to the scene to disprove these statements. DeepState explains that Russian forces have been dropping their flags onto residential buildings using drones and then «draw» advances and control over the district in Kherson.

In addition, Russian troops have been randomly shelling the area with multiple rocket launchers, guided bombs, and artillery — presenting these attacks as proof of control inside the city.

«How they reconcile that logic is a rhetorical question, ” the channel says.

DeepState analysts suggest that this burst of Russian media activity in the area might be linked to a possible attempt to stage a landing operation elsewhere.
