Kyiv region
“A brutal night for the Kyiv region. The enemy launched a massive missile-and-drone assault. Residential buildings, rail infrastructure, and business sites were hit,” said Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of the Regional Military Administration.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said the Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bucha districts of the Kyiv region were under fire for most of the night.
In Fastiv, strikes triggered fires and caused damage at the railway station and a locomotive depot.

Near Kyiv, in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, falling drone debris set a 5,500-square-meter warehouse ablaze. Three trucks burned, one home was destroyed, and six more were damaged.
In Nezhylovychi, Bucha district, a private building was hit and caught fire. Emergency crews continue working to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
At least three civilians were injured in overnight attacks on the Kyiv region, Governor Mykola Kalashnyk said.
In the Vyshhorod district, a woman born in 1979 was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds to her arm, chest, and back, as well as a cervical spine injury.
Another woman, 40, suffered a facial laceration and was treated on the spot. Strikes on rail infrastructure in Fastiv disrupted suburban train traffic, Ukraine’s national railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia said.
Russian missile and drone attacks also hit other parts of the country.
Energy facilities in Zelenodolsk, Dnipropetrovsk region, were targeted in Russian strikes, Governor Vladyslav Haivanenko said.
In Pavlohrad, a drone hit sparked fires at a garage and an outbuilding.
Nikopol was also under attack, with an 11-year-old boy injured and treated on site.
Lutsk
A heavy drone assault on Lutsk caused fires at food warehouses in one of the city’s districts, Mayor Ihor Polishchuk said. Around 7 a.m., three enemy drones approached from different directions and were engaged by air defenses. The mayor also repeatedly reported on another drone approaching the city.
Odesa region
Enemy drones struck Odesa, forcing critical infrastructure to switch to generators, the Regional Military Administration said. “Points of Invincibility” have been deployed in the city. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
The attacks left 9,500 residents without heating and 34,000 without water. Teams are working to reconnect to backup lines.

Russian shelling disrupts train schedules
Damage to railway tracks overnight forced immediate changes to suburban train schedules, impacting multiple routes in the Kyiv region.
Following the massive attack on the night of December 6, that damaged tracks near Fastiv, Ukrzaliznytsia has had to reroute some suburban trains.
Several services will not run today, while others will follow alternative routes to Motovylivka, Fastiv-2, and Kozhanka stations.
Passengers are urged to check updated schedules in advance, as further changes may occur while repair work is underway and track conditions are evaluated.
Strikes on energy infrastructure in Poltava caused power outages, with similar disruptions reported in Rivne and parts of Kherson left without electricity.

The Ukrainian Air Forces confirmed cruise missiles were approaching Lviv, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Due to Russian long-range aviation activity, military aviation operations were launched over Polish airspace.
Ukrainian air defenses responded across all directions, though the full impact of the attacks in many regions is still being evaluated.
