Overnight on November 24, the Russian army targeted energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. As a result, there are power outages affecting consumers. Throughout the day, scheduled blackouts ranging from 0.5 to 3 stages will be applied.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
The situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region has become critical following the Russian attacks, with over 60,000 people still without power.
"Another 10,000 subscribers have been cut off following the attack on the Kharkiv region," the agency reported.
Repair teams have already launched emergency restoration efforts, working around the clock to bring damaged equipment back online as quickly as possible.
"Due to the aftermath of the previous massive missile and drone attacks, all regions of Ukraine are now under consumption limits ranging from 0.5 to 3 stages," the company reported.
Power restrictions for industrial consumers are also still in place at full capacity.
The Ministry of Energy detailed that on November 24, the occupiers targeted the energy infrastructure of the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The outages will last from 00:00 to 23:59. Ukrainians are once again urged to use electricity wisely throughout the day.
"Especially during peak hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the grid," the statement said.
