Russian strike hits passenger train in Sumy region: Consequences reported (photos)
Several dozen people have been injured in a Russian strike.

The Russian army attacked the railway station in the Shostka community of Sumy region. A passenger train running the Shostka–Kyiv route was hit.
This was reported by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.
“The enemy deliberately struck civilian infrastructure – a passenger train on the Shostka–Kyiv route. Passengers were injured,” the official stressed.
Rescuers, medics and all emergency services are working at the site of the Russian strike. Specialists are setting up an operational headquarters. The rescue operation is ongoing.
“The scale of destruction and the number of casualties are being clarified,” the head of the military administration said.
Acting Head of the Shostka District Military Administration Oksana Tarasiuk, told Suspilne that about 30 people were injured in the Russian attack. The wounded have been taken to hospital.
