Russians 20 km from Sumy: Authorities report on the threat of FPV drone strikes

In some areas, the Russian army is positioned 20 kilometers from the city of Sumy. This creates a threat of FPV drone strikes on the city. However, no such attacks have been recorded so far.

Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, said this during a broadcast on "Suspilne."

According to him, drones of this type are not currently reaching the regional center.

"We detect them closer to the line of combat engagement," he noted.

Meanwhile, the Russian army is actively attacking Sumy with "Shahed" drones and recently shelled the city with a long-range multiple launch rocket system.
