Roads used for logistics by Ukrainian troops in Myrnohrad and for leaving the city are now in a “grey zone,” creating severe conditions for the city’s garrison. The defenders face growing operational encirclement every day.
The information was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda sources.
Two sources cited by Ukrainska Pravda, along with DeepState map data, said the situation around Myrnohrad has deteriorated sharply after Russian troops recently took control of part of Rivne — one of two key settlements used for logistics.
A marine officer, currently operating in the area, described the situation as critical and compared it to the conditions that caused Pokrovsk to fall quickly.
“The closed “grey zone” around Myrnohrad, shown today by DeepState, has been holding for several weeks. The last time we moved personnel by vehicles was mid-November, and in early December a few managed to leave on foot — that’s it. In November, another attempt via Rodynske failed, with all three vehicles — ours and allied — destroyed. Now I see why Pokrovsk fell so fast: the same thing is happening here. Enemy forces accumulate critically, and that’s it — they’re everywhere, and nothing can stop them. This happens after logistics are disrupted, drones operate, and artillery is pulled away,” the marine officer said.
Media reports also note that, as the direct route to Myrnohrad via Pokrovsk is largely occupied, the Ukrainian garrison has been forced to use routes through the small villages of Rivne and Svitle. Part of Rivne is already controlled by the enemy, and the Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage from the area.
Sources say the conditional exit corridor from Myrnohrad now spans just a few kilometers of “grey zone” between partially captured Rivne and the fully occupied village of Krasnyi Lyman. The village of Rodynske to the north is roughly 80% in enemy hands.

The publication highlighted that navigating this corridor has been highly hazardous for at least the last three to four weeks. Ukrainian brigades have incurred casualties while moving, as “the enemy is literally everywhere.” Airborne brigades have tried to clear the corridor, but there is no information yet on whether these attempts were successful.
Reports also indicate that, while severing logistics routes, Russian forces are expanding their presence within Myrnohrad itself. With limited observation tools, Ukrainian troops are finding it harder to accurately gauge enemy numbers. According to the military, some areas of Myrnohrad are approaching encirclement.
Ukrainska Pravda sources say servicemen are trying to evacuate personnel through the “grey corridor” and are sustaining losses.
