Ukraine prepares security guarantees proposals with U.S. — Zelenskyy
The President of Ukraine stressed that Kyiv is working on new security agreements and remains open to cooperation with international partners.
Zelenskyy defines Ukraine's pivotal objective
Ukraine is expanding its international security cooperation, said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address on April 6.
"All nations deserve security — and there will be further security agreements on our part. These will undoubtedly bolster Ukraine," he stated.
According to the president, interest in security cooperation with Ukraine is growing among different countries.
"Very different states now want to cooperate with Ukraine as a security partner. We are open to joint work with all those who support our sovereignty, our independence and respect our people," he added.
Zelenskyy also said that the state's pivotal objective is to achieve stability and peace not only in Europe but across the globe.
According to him, global security has a direct bearing on the economy, energy, and other critical sectors.
"Our goal is unequivocal — we need stability and peace in Europe, in the Middle East, and the Gulf, as well as in other globally significant regions. This is essential to ensure the world does not face the fallout of destabilized markets, devastated energy sectors, disrupted maritime navigation, nuclear threats, or food insecurity," Zelenskyy emphasized.
