Ending the full-scale war in Ukraine will depend on multiple factors, with both diplomatic efforts and the country’s internal strength playing a decisive role.
This was stated by a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, Vadym Skibitskyi, in a comment to Novyny.LIVE.
According to the intelligence assessments, the aggressor is still betting on destabilization within Ukraine. Russia seeks to create chaos and divide the population to weaken the nation’s resistance. Yet, as Skibitskyi emphasized, Ukrainian society continues to show remarkable unity.
Speaking on the prospects of ending hostilities, Skibitskyi stressed:
«Everything will depend on the negotiation process and our strength, both on the front lines and here at home. The enemy will always try to divide us, create disorder, and sow chaos. But our people — looking at the community in the city of Vyshneve — are ready to move forward and fight until we achieve victory.»
Thus, the intelligence service highlights that the resilience of the home front and the unity of local communities are just as crucial to the war’s outcome as battlefield successes.
