Andriy Yusov, a representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, commented on predictions about a possible end to the war in 2026, stressing that internal and external resilience would matter more than any specific timelines.

Novyny.LIVE reported this.

Yusov said achieving peace remains a shared goal for all state institutions and citizens.

“I will not speculate. What I can say is that Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces, diplomats, and the country’s military and political leadership are doing everything they can to secure a just peace as quickly as possible. Ultimately, the entire society is working toward this,” he said.

The intelligence representative added that Ukraine’s key challenge in 2026 will be preserving national unity.

“Maintaining unity in 2026 — unity at home, in foreign policy priorities, and in assessments of the enemy’s actions — is the main guarantee of our resilience, our survival, and our success,” Yusov concluded.
