US missile deliveries are moving far too slowly, even though protecting people should be the top priority for Ukraine's international partners, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said while speaking to journalists near the rubble of a damaged residential building in Kyiv, TSN reported.

Missile supplies for Ukraine: what Zelenskyy said

"We are grateful to the US team for providing these missiles, but today, it is happening too slowly. Frankly speaking, way too slowly," Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian president announced an upcoming meeting with a US delegation. He stressed that counteracting Russian aggression remains the core focus of negotiations with US President Donald Trump and his team, underscoring that the current situation demands immediate actions, not words. Zelenskyy also announced a scheduled meeting with Trump at the upcoming NATO summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Western politicians to look at the human cost in Ukraine, stating that the loss of life is a far greater tragedy than any logistical or political hurdles in weapon deliveries.

"Losing your home, your house—that is the real problem. People have lost their children, their families, their lives. And I think that is exactly where the problem lies," the president underscored.

He also said he understands the domestic political dynamics in the United States and Europe, where public life is often shaped by election cycles. Nevertheless, Zelenskyy called on Ukraine's partners to put saving Ukrainian lives above all else.
