Zelenskyy outraged by Hungary’s actions regarding "Magyar": What he said

Instead of a just response to the killings of our people by Russia, new accusations against Ukraine are coming from Hungary.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Hungary’s ban on entry for Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces. According to the Ukrainian leader, this causes outrage.

Zelenskyy wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

In Ukraine, efforts continue to address the aftermath of one of Russia’s most large-scale terrorist attacks. Meanwhile, Hungarian officials are trying to call black white, and shift the blame for the ongoing war onto Ukraine.

As the country’s leader emphasized, Ukraine has positively received all global proposals for a ceasefire and genuine diplomacy. In contrast, the only party that has rejected them is Russia.

“Unfortunately, Hungary has not yet shown a fair response to such behavior by Russia, nor has it even expressed condolences for the loss of our people: just last night, and only in Kyiv, Russian drones and missiles took the lives of 17 people, including four children,” Zelenskyy notes.

At the same time, he says, new accusations against Ukraine are heard from Hungary every day. Moreover, Hungarian officials are attempting to discriminate against representatives of the Hungarian community in Ukraine for defending their country and its people.

“If Hungary has indeed banned a military commander, who is an ethnic Hungarian and a citizen of Ukraine, from entering Hungary and the entire Schengen Area, this can only provoke outrage. I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to clarify all the facts and respond accordingly,” he stated.
