Zelenskyy reveals where Russia has concentrated maximum effort on the front

The highest concentration of Russian offensive forces has been recorded in the Oleksandrivka and Pokrovsk directions. These are the areas where Ukrainian units are mounting the most intense resistance.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this following briefings from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov.

Frontline situation and long-range strikes

According to the president, military leadership is focusing on areas where the enemy is applying the strongest pressure. In addition to the frontline situation, Zelenskyy was briefed on the results of «deep strikes» — long-range attacks that have an economic impact on the aggressor. It was emphasized that these operations contribute to a real reduction in Russian oil revenues.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the next course of action with military command. He stressed the importance of synchronizing battlefield successes with diplomatic efforts on the international stage.

«It is important that strong Ukrainian positions on the front and in long-range operations also strengthen our position in diplomacy and in varied relations with our partners. This is exactly what is happening. Ukraine is defending itself while demonstrating the ability to enhance security for others, ” the president concluded.
