Lately, cases of remote mining of territories with improvised explosive devices have been increasingly reported. These are so-called «gingerbread.»

The State Emergency Service has reported these incidents.

Warning for Ukrainians

Rescuers stress that these munitions are especially dangerous, as they are almost invisible and easily disguise themselves as stones, blending with soil, grass, or even asphalt.

«The enemy scatters them remotely and in large quantities, significantly increasing the risk to civilians, ” the State Emergency Service notes.

What to do if you find a suspicious object:

- Do not touch it;

- Immediately move to a safe distance;

- Report the find via 101 or 112.

Ukrainians are reminded never to attempt to neutralize an explosive device themselves. Your life is the most valuable asset.
