Key targets for Tomahawk missiles: Where Ukrainian forces should strike first, expert says

If Ukraine eventually acquires American Tomahawk cruise missiles and the Kremlin persists in dismissing peace negotiations, strikes with this weapon should target the «decision-making center».

Political analyst and Head of the Center for Analysis and Strategies, Ihor Chalyi, said this in a commentary for 24 Kanal.

However, the expert speculates that the Trump administration, when supplying Tomahawks, will impose a condition excluding strikes on the Kremlin itself.

Chalyi believes the aggressor state’s capital must still experience the power of American cruise missiles, so strikes could target Moscow’s energy facilities.

«Russia threatens us with blackouts. But then we will create a blackout in Moscow. There is a range of tools we are already deploying,» he noted.

Moreover, according to him, there are other targets for Tomahawks on Russian territory. In particular, these could include factories producing Shahed drones that terrorize Ukraine’s peaceful cities.

American missiles could also hit the so-called «Yamal Cross,» where nearly 20 Russian gas pipelines converge.
