Presidential Office  Representative Comments on Lukashenko's Statement about "Non-Aggression Pact" with Ukraine

Podoliak describes Belorussian dictator’s statement as “weird”.

In his interview with Channel 24, Advisor to the Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office Mykhailo Podoliak said he was not ready to comment on the "weird statements" of self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko regarding Ukraine's "non-aggression pact."

Podoliak recalled the words of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi that "Belarus' participation in the war is very desirable for Russian, but for Belarus itself, such participation is a mistake from a strategic point of view".

"They have already provided infrastructure, certain training grounds, airfields, fuel bases, repair capabilities, etc., but it would be a wise decision for Belarus, to put it mildly, not to enter the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, if Lukashenko wants to sign some kind of "non-aggression pact," then please let him sign it, maybe even with himself. After the war, we would also sign separate pacts with other states, based on the consequences of this war," Mykhailo Podoliak emphasized.
