The Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine, in coordination with other Defense Forces components, targeted several traction substations of the Russian invaders in Kursk region.
This was reported by the General Staff on July 29.
They noted that the operations involved the enemy's air defense systems and explosions in the areas of at least four substations. As a result, power outages were recorded in Ponirowsky, Kursky and Solntsevsky districts of Kursk region.
"The strikes were carried out by the forces and means of the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces. Russian industry, which supports the war against Ukraine, is a legitimate target for our troops," the statement said.
It was noted that these facilities, among other things, support the functioning of the Russian railway system, which transports weapons and military equipment for their occupation forces.
"Measures to undermine the enemy's military-economic potential will continue until the invaders cease their armed aggression against the Ukrainian people," the General Staff added.
