Without Western aid, Ukraine will have no way to cover the entire civilian portion of the 2025 budget expenditures.
Ukraine's state budget for 2025 is built on the assumption that Western partners will continue to cover all civilian expenses. If this aid stops, there will be no funds available to finance these expenses.
This was stated by Ukrainian MP Nina Yuzhanina during an interview on "Novyny.LIVE."
Yuzhanina was asked about a "Plan B" in case external funding is cut off. "I think there absolutely is a "Plan B": to halt all payments except for military ones. And everyone would endure together - because this is what martial law entails - uniting, finding other mechanisms for assistance, payments, and restrictions," she said.
