How the June 30 attack on Kyiv differs from previous ones

Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, noted that today’s missile strike on Kyiv was different from numerous recent air attacks on the capital of Ukraine.

"The enemy struck not in the dark, not with a combined or massive bombardment. Not with ballistic weapons or cruise missiles from strategic bombers. The aggressor is testing new tactics – looking for the right time, methods and means to strike Kyiv," Popko explained.

The Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration says that the capital of Ukraine has always been and will remain one of the top targets for the invaders. He notes that such attacks should serve as a reminder to the residents of the capital – no air raid warning should be ignored.

"Missiles are intercepted, but they do not disintegrate into molecules, and fragments pose a threat to people's lives. Therefore, when you hear the siren – go to shelter. Be responsible! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. By acting responsibly, you help bring our victory closer," Popko concluded.
