Ballistic missile strikes on Odesa: Humeniuk stated the need for "specific" air defense systems
Ballistic missiles are very difficult to intercept.
Odesa
Currently, Odesa and its region require reinforced protection and "specific" air defense systems to intercept ballistic missiles being used by the Russian army to attack the region.
This was stated by Head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South", Natalia Humeniuk, on the air of the telethon.
"Odesa region needs additional reinforced protection because a very powerful economic component of the entire Ukrainian economy operates here... The only thing that we really need at this stage is powerful support for air defense systems. I think our partners hear us," she said.
Humeniuk once again emphasized that ballistic missiles are very difficult to intercept. Therefore, air defense systems capable of combating them are needed by all regions in the risk zone.
Currently, the Russian army tries to increase pressure by carrying out pinpoint ballistic strikes in conditions of limited use of aviation.
