Belarus Is Switching Its Army into “Wartime Mode”: Known Details 

Against the background of constant military exercises, Belarus has started to switch the army into the "wartime mode", as the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus reports.

"In accordance with the plan of extraordinary inspections of the level of combat and mobilization readiness, approved by the Head of the Military Service Office of the Armed Forces, the Minsk Military Commandant's Office is carrying out a set of measures to switch from peacetime mode into the wartime mode," the statement reads.

The Belarusian Defense Ministry says that the main purpose of the event is to test the knowledge of servicemen and assess their actions in case of bringing the military unit to a higher degree of combat readiness.
