"Devil's Advocate": Zelenskyy’s Representative Responds to Hungary's Calls for Peace with Russia
Podoliak urged Hungarians to take a closer look at history.
Hungary is calling for Ukraine's surrender and justifying the Russian genocide of Ukrainians through ceasefire statements, as Mykhailo Podoliak, the Adviser to the Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, tweeted.
"Sometimes it is profitable to be the devil's advocate, but more often it leads to a historical fiasco. When Hungary (through Szijjarto) says that "the goal is to stop killing people, and therefore to cease fire," it is calling for Ukraine's surrender and advocating ru-genocide. But it is worth taking a closer look at history," Podoliak wrote.
