An attempt to renew the offensive operation of the Russian occupying army in Zaporizhzhia region may start as early as next week.

This was stated by Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko.

According to him, Russian troops are actively redeploying reserves.

“In the last almost three weeks, at least 5,000 personnel from newly formed units have been moved through Mariupol, based on verified resistance data,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Andryushchenko also noted the movement of Russian units through the village of Hranitne (Novoazovsk – Hranitne - Volnovakha district), accumulating to the north and northwest of Vuhledar.

Meanwhile, in camps around Mariupol in Donetsk and Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia, active preparations are underway for the reinforcement and coordination of Russian assault units being withdrawn from the front line. Specifically, three training grounds are actively operating in the Mariupol area and Novopetrivka near Berdiansk.

“Given the timelines, the ready assault troops will be in a “can go to the front” state by the middle of next week at the earliest. All this, along with certain insights that I will not disclose, leads us to expect a new attempt to renew the offensive operation no earlier than next week in Zaporizhzhia region,” Petro Andryushchenko concluded.
