What is happening around Chasiv Yar: the Armed Forces of Ukraine explain

Intense battles are ongoing in the Chasiv Yar area, with the occupiers attempting to breach the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was stated by Spokesperson for the Operational-Tactical Group "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova, on the air of the telethon.

According to her, the enemy realize when they cannot attack Ukrainian forces head-on.

"This is because they are also suffering significant losses in the Kramatorsk direction. Therefore, they try to find weak spots in our defense with small strikes. They hit here and there, hoping that something will work," she said.

She adds that the tactic of the Ukrainian military is to cut off the enemy’s logistical routes and leave them without reinforcements.

"To destroy the enemy, all means will be employed. We are grateful to our partners for providing us with artillery systems, shells, aviation, and armored fighting vehicles. All of this is being used as effectively as possible on the battlefield. We are also actively using drones," Bobovnikova concluded.
