Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has outlined two solutions that could turn the tide of Russia's war against Ukraine.

He made these remarks in an interview with the Lithuanian publication LRT. Ukraine is forced to wage a full-scale war with Russia for the third year, because there is simply no other way out.

Kuleba was asked whether it is possible to change the trend of Russians slowly but steadily advancing and occupying Ukrainian territory meter by meter. In turn, Ukraine needs ten times more people, ammunition, and everything it currently receives to stop Russia's advance.

"It is possible to change this trend, but it is very difficult. It involves many components and many decisions that need to be made. Some of them depend on us, and we are making them. Some decisions depend on our partners, and they usually understand that these decisions need to be made," the minister said.

He named two main decisions that need to be made to change this trend. The first is the destruction of Russian bombers on airfields and in the air.

"This is a real sore point for our ground forces. We consider the main reason for Russian success to be the almost endless number of guided bombs they drop on our ground forces. They massively destroy and kill, and sometimes they simply level positions to the ground, leaving nothing to defend," the Foreign Minister explained.

Kuleba is convinced that once Ukraine manages to eliminate the threat of aerial bombardment, the ground positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be strengthened, and it will be very difficult for Russia to advance.

The second decision is to increase the stockpiles of ammunition.

"If we protect our forces from aerial bombs, if we have enough artillery and ammunition to destroy moving Russian columns and units, this will be a huge investment to change the situation on the battlefield," the minister explained.
