The Russian occupiers possess significant stocks of Iranian Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and they are constantly being replenished.
This was disclosed by Natalia Humeniuk, Head of United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defence Forces of South of Ukraine, during an interview on Apostrof TV.
"Unfortunately, the enemy's supply of Shaheds is being replenished. This is the most important problem for Ukraine - the fact that the country sponsoring terrorism has its own sponsors. That is why they receive a certain amount of support, thanks to which they carry out their attacks", Humeniuk said.
According to her, the Russians still have a large supply of Shaheds. At the same time, they can use other methods of influence on Ukrainian air defense systems, logistics routes, collection centers - in particular, frontline assistance centers.
"I would like to remind everyone that the enemy does not hesitate to attack warehouses with humanitarian cargo, Red Cross facilities, peaceful residential areas, hospitals, and grain elevators. We are dealing with terrorists, and we must realize this. And we must remember that we cannot predict in advance what exactly will be used and where", Humeniuk added.
The Head of the Press center of the Defence Forces of South of Ukraine noted that the occupiers recently replenished their supply of drones, so the attacks will continue. However, she emphasized that "we should not wait for them, but we should be prepared for them".
It should be noted that Iran denies its assistance to the Russian Federation, which is related to the supply of Shahed attack drones.
Tehran claims to be in favor of a political solution to end the war as soon as possible and is even ready to help in this.
