Inavders Are about to Turn a Community in Kherson Region into a Base for Military Operations  – Town Mayor 

The Russian invasion forces are about to turn the seized Oleshky territorial community in Kherson Region into a military base for combat operations, as Yevhenii Ryshchuk, the Mayor of Oleshky, wrote in his Facebook post.

"Based on the statements made by the so-called leaders of the invasion "authorities", it appears that most part of Oleshky territorial community will be turned into a military base for combat operations", the Mayor stressed. 

According to Ryshchuk, he personally and the majority of the community residents strongly oppose illegal actions committed by the Russians.

"We have been given a choice - a hard life in evacuation or death in our own homes. The so-called “Russian liberators” have no other options for us," he added.

According to him, the invaders have blocked all roads leading to Ukraine-controlled territories, so the residents are advised to move deep into the Kherson region if possible.
