The Russian army is not easing its pressure in the Kupiansk direction and is intensifying preparations for assault operations. The movement of Russian equipment and personnel is regularly detected.

This was reported by Vitalii Hnylko, the press officer of the 77th Brigade, during a broadcast on “KYIV24.”

According to him, Russian troops are relentlessly trying to storm the positions of Ukrainian forces. These assaults are mostly localized.

"While the assaults aren’t massive, they are systematic," Hnylko added.

The enemy is conducting so-called "creeping" assaults, involving 1–2 infantrymen at a time. They either hit minefields or are neutralized from the air. That’s where the occupiers’ advance ends.

“After some time, the enemy sends another assault group that walks along the same corpse-littered paths,” he said.
